This project involves the design of Japanese and English
versions of corporate stationery for D-MATCHA Co., LTD.
I reworked the logo to resemble a D shape, also featuring
leaves to represent the matcha plant and curved lines
to represent the fields of tea plants. A muted green was
chosen to match the green of their products and also give
a sense of being natural and calming. The gridded layout
of the stationery also gives a sense of order and simplicity
that is complimented by the sans serif typefaces used. Aside
from the green and white, a medium-dark gray is used in
place of black to stick to the muted and subdued color
scheme and layout. This stationery is also intended to be
printed using slightly textured paper and embossment for
the brand logo on the front of the business card.
