This project was completed during a Spring/Summer semester study abroad in Hamburg, Germany--designing and coding a variable typeface and html site. The typeface is called Gundam-24, based on the Japanese Mecha franchise Gundam who celebrated its 45th anniversary in 2024. To the right is a collection of images and videos of Gundam and other cyberpunk/cyber-mecha fonts that were used as inspiration for this project. The segments and shapes used in the typeface are based on joints and parts of the Gundam robots.
