SunRice is a brand featuring a line of fruit infused makgeolli. These fruits correspond with different seasons and regions: Gyeongsangbuk-do Korean Melon in the Spring, Gangwon-do Peach in the Summer, Jeollanam-do Asian Pear in the Autumn, and Jeju-do Tangerine in the Winter.
The name SunRice is a play on the word sunrise which represents the passage of time and changing of seasons, replacing rise with rice as makgeolli is a rice wine. The logo has a silhouette of a traditional ceramic bottle, and a cup meant to symbolize the friendship aspect of drinking culture. These silhouettes are against a cut circle resembling a sunrise. The naming and logo direction were made in collaboration with Carolina Romero, Jane Shuieh, Stephanie Valdivia, and Sophie Brown. A separate label was designed and created featuring a clean and contemporary look to appeal to the 25-35 aged target audience.
