Hello! My name is Kellie Yada. As a Japanese American designer, I often work with my cultural community and try to find ways to implement my experiences as a graphic designer into my other endeavors. My design style is also largely inspired by Japanese aesthetics which highlight balance and harmony. 

 

I enjoy thinking about materials, production, and the way someone will interact physically with my design. My favorite projects involve designing for print–things like packaging, poster, and editorial design. My personal interest in screen printing and multimedia collaging have also played a part in my appreciation for texture and tactile properties of projects.
